Refund + Cancellation Policies
1. Private Sessions, Community Sessions, Events, Mobile + Tent Sauna Rentals
We understand that plans can change and aim to be as fair and transparent as possible while operating a small, community-based sauna business.
This policy allows us to fairly manage staffing, transportation, and setup costs while continuing to offer accessible, community-first sauna experiences. Thank you so much for your support + understanding.
- Full refund if cancellation notice is provided 14 days or more prior to your scheduled session or rental.
- Credit issued if cancellation notice is provided between 14 days and 48 hours prior to your session. Credits may be applied toward a future Kamu Sauna experience.
- No refunds, credits, or rescheduling are available for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session, event, or rental.
- If you are unable to attend, you may choose to donate your session to a community member in need. Please contact us in advance so we can coordinate the transfer.

2. SAUNA SHOP - REFUNDS, RETURNS + EXCHANGES POLICY
Sauna stoves, heaters, accessories & specialty sauna equipment
Due to the nature of sauna stoves, heaters, and specialty sauna equipment, we do not offer refunds once an order has been placed.
Exchanges (Soft Goods Only)
Please contact us before returning any item to receive authorization and instructions.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible, + no later that within 7 days of delivery at:

We may request photos, packaging details, and order information. If the issue is confirmed, we will work with you to arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include:

- local building and fire codes
- electrical and mechanical regulations
Due to the nature of sauna stoves, heaters, and specialty sauna equipment, we do not offer refunds once an order has been placed.
Exchanges (Soft Goods Only)
- Exchanges may be permitted for unused soft good items (clothing, textiles + sauna hats) in original condition and packaging
- Exchanges are subject to approval and availability
- Shipping costs are not reimbursed
- Customers are responsible for all return and outbound shipping costs

Sauna Stove + Equipment - Important Installation & Liability Notice
- Sauna stoves and heaters are specialty equipment requiring proper design, clearances, ventilation, electrical capacity, and/or chimney systems.
- Customers are solely responsible for confirming product compatibility with their sauna, local building codes, electrical systems, ventilation, and fire safety requirements prior to purchase.
- Kamu Sauna is not responsible or liable for damages, failures, safety issues, or losses resulting from improper installation, misuse, modification, or operation of sauna stoves or heaters.
- Installation must be completed in accordance with:
- local building and fire codes
- electrical and mechanical regulations
- We strongly recommend that all sauna stoves and heaters be installed by a qualified, licensed professional.
- Failure to follow manufacturer instructions or local regulations may void manufacturer warranties.
3. SAUNA HEATERS - MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES
Sauna heaters we sell through our sauna shop are covered by manufacturer warranties, including:
Warranty coverage, timelines, and remedies are determined by the manufacturer. Kamu Sauna will support customers through the warranty process but is not responsible for warranty outcomes determined by the manufacturer.
